Map of Africa with Asia on reverse side, countries and regions are hand colored, insets of the Delta of the Nile and the Island of St. Helena, from Grays Atlas. The interior of the continent was being explored at this time and Lake Victoria and several other bodies of water have dotted edges, representing the uncertainty of their shape. Fair to good overall antique condition with slight toning, some staining, mostly in the margins, some edge wear. Measures approx. 12" x 15". Priced as-is.
