Antique hand colored map of the northern Bourgogne (Burgundy) region, by Sir Robert de Vaugondy, 1752. Burgundy is world-renowned for its wine production, specifically Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Includes Chablis, Auxerre, Vezelay, Beaune, Dijon, and many other cities and towns. Topography is shown pictorially with mountains and trees.  Measures 18.75 x 19.75 inches to the neatline.  Very good condition with toning that is darker at the paper edges, some other minor tiny spots.
