Monumental antique pictorial map of Switzerland designed by Prof. Ed. Imhof, drawn by Otto Muller, published by the the Swiss National Tourist Office, and copyrighted by Hallwag Berne, 1939. This highly-detailed folding map features towns, cities, topography depicted pictorially, with additional illustrations throughout. The map is surrounded by quotes and lovely decorative images of plants and flowers. North is oriented to the bottom of the map, South oriented up. The back side of the map is filled with text and illustrations relating the history and notable sights. Good antique condition with some wear along the folds, some small tears at the paper edges, some mild stains. Measures approx. 30 x 44 inches.
