Antique map of part of the River Rhine in Germany from Cologne to Mainz, depicted in a pictorial, bird's-eye view style with text and images. Published by Hoursch & Bechstedt circa 1900. Includes Bingen, Koblenz, Bonn, and many other towns and cities along this section of the river, with images and informational text in English. Original printed color with a shine added to the cities. This map was issued in several different states: in this state, the text is in off-white boxes included on the map, and the images are black and white and appear to be images of paintings, not photographs. Very good antique condition with original paper jacket. Measures approx. 61 x 8.5 inches to the neatline and 62.5 x 9 inches to the paper edges.
