Antique hand-colored map of the town of Greenport, New York, from the Atlas of Columbia County, New York, by Beers, Ellis & Co. 1888. Shows names of property owners at the time of publication, railroads, topography, and some points of interest (e.g. chapel, store, hotel, stone mills, lighthouse on Rogers Island on the Hudson River, etc.) Original hand-coloring by district, with labeled district numbers. Very good antique condition with mild toning overall, some very minor wrinkling of the paper, and areas of very minor spots/foxing. Measures approx. 14.5" x 10.75" to the neatline, with the map extending significantly beyond the neatline at the lower left.
