Antique hand-colored map of Stockport, New York, from the Atlas of Columbia County, New York, by Beers, Ellis & Co. 1888. Includes two additional maps showing a Plan of Stottville, and a portion of Stockport including the hamlet of Columbiaville, knitting mills, R. Reynolds' Sons Loom Works, Brooskside Hotel, etc.) Shows names of property owners at the time of publication, railroads, topography, and some points of interest (e.g. Stott Woolen Co., cemetery, church, etc.) Original hand-coloring by district, with labeled district numbers. Very good antique condition with mild toning overall, some minor wrinkling of the paper, and a few spots of very minor foxing. Measures approx. 11.75" x 15" to the neatline, with the map extending beyond the neatline in places at the right and bottom of the page, creating tight margins for framing there.
