Antique hand-colored map of Taghkanic, New York, from the Atlas of Columbia County, New York, by Beers, Ellis & Co. 1888. Shows names of property owners at the time of publication, topography, and some points of interest (e.g. church, store, post office, etc.) Original hand-coloring by district, with labeled district numbers. Very good antique condition with mild toning overall, some very minor wrinkling of the paper, a few spots of very mild foxing, and some minor seam separation at the right edge of the fold. Fold along the top, as issued. Measures approx. 11.75" x 15" to the neatline, with the map extending beyond the neatline at the top right, creating a very tight margin for framing.
