Antique hand colored map of part of West Roxbury, Massachusetts from the "Atlas of the City of Boston, West Roxbury, from Actual Surveys and Official Plans by George W. and Walter S. Bromley", published in 1914. This map shows the area from Washington Street to Chestnut Avenue and Lamartine Streets and lists the Ellis Mendell School, Boylston Station, Bowditch School, several breweries including that is now Samuel Adams, etc., with roads, railroads, public spaces, property owners' names, major land and water features, etc. Note: The area that was called West Roxbury in 1914 is different from the area we know as West Roxbury now. Very good antique condition with overall foxing and toning of paper, general signs of age; fold at center, as issued. Approx. 21.5 x 32 inches to the neatline. **SOLD**
