This colorful map features images of people, animals, and architacture, with vignettes showing a variety of historical and cultural images, including National Dance, and the Independence of Mexico. The upper right corner features a quote by William H. Prescott from his book The History of the Conquest of Mexico, Book 1: View of the Aztec Civilization, with images below the quote showing the varied landscapes and products of Mexico. This map was issued as a folded map and retains the original folds. Good to very good condition with some minor seam separation at sides, and a pin hole in 3 of the corners. Approx. 13.5 x 21.5 inches to the neatline. ***SOLD***
