Antique printed color pictorial map of Mexico drawn by Miguel Gomez Medina and published by Fischgrund Publishing Co. in 1931. This colorful map features images of people, animals, and architacture, with vignettes showing a variety of historical and cultural images, including National Dance, and the Independence of Mexico. The upper right corner features a quote by William H. Prescott from his book The History of the Conquest of Mexico, Book 1: View of the Aztec Civilization, with images below the quote showing the varied landscapes and products of Mexico. This map was issued as a folded map and retains the original folds. Good to very good condition with some minor seam separation at sides, and a pin hole in 3 of the corners. Approx. 13.5 x 21.5 inches to the neatline. ***SOLD***
