This map features a playful and informative style with facts for every state and showing the various west-ward trails used by pioneers and gold rushers. Four inset maps featuring the Confederate states, transportation types and the lengths of time it took to cross the country, the various purchases, annexations, and cessations that created the country, and a short history of events of the country. Very good antique condition with foxing on the right New England area and minor foxing on left edge, slight stain at center fold. This map has folds and was issued as a folding map. approx. 28 x 36 inches to neatline. **SOLD**
