Engraved Antique hand colored map of Western Africa, from "Pinkerton's Modern Atlas", showing water bodies, islands, mountains, and towns, mainly along the rivers and coasts, vast areas of unmapped territory in the interior, "Part of the Great Desert" in the north, the "Mountains of Kong" running across the entire map from west to east, and the "Grain Coast," "Ivory Coast," Gold Coast" and "Slave Coast" along the Gulf of Guinea. Very good condition with minor soiling, measures approximately 20 x27.5 inches.
