Antique uncolored map of ancient Persia by Magini, copied from Ptolemy. This map was published in a 1598 copy of Ptolemy's "Geography" produced by Giovanni Antonio Magini. The original map was produced in the 2nd century CE. Very good overall antique condition, matted with brown mat. Approx. 6 x 7.25 inches to the inner mat opening, and 13 x 10.75 inches to the outer dimensions of the mat. This is a guaranteed authentic antique map from 1598.
