Antique map of a portion of the eastern coast of Tierra del Fuego, the Le Maire Strait, and a portion of the western coast of Isla de los Estados. Map is in French, by Bellin, published in the Petit Atlas Maritime from 1764. Includes a compass rose (north is oriented to the left), illustrated topographical detail, and names of coastal landmarks. Visible plate mark. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, very mild foxing. Measures approximately 8.5 x 6.5 inches to the neatline.
