Antique uncolored copper plate print of St. Salvador under attack. St Salvador also known as Sao Salvador, Salvador de Bahia, Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, from Allain Manesson Mallet's "Description de l'Univers" published in 1683. This view shows the area from above, as a bird's eye view. Very good antique condition with some very minor smudges and a mild water stain in the upper right. Measures approx. 5.75 x 4 inches to the neatline and 8.5 x 5.5 inches to the paper edges.
