Antique steel engraving print published in Picturesque Europe by S. Read, shows The Tomb of the Howards at Arundel Church. The most magnificent of the Howard tombs in St Michael's Church in the small Suffolk town of Framlingham, England, is that of the 3rd Duke of Norfolk, said to be among the finest examples of Renaissance sculpture in northern Europe. It is possible that it also holds the remains of the first and second Dukes. Excellent condition with minimal signs of age as pictured. Measures approximately 8" x 11" to just outside the printed image including text.
