Antique black & white engraving print from "Europe Illustrated: its Picturesque Scenes and Places of Note" published by The London Printing and Publishing Company, 1875.. Shows a view of the Château de Philippe de Cabassolle overlooking the Vaucluse Spring with figures in foreground. The famous poet Petrarch made the Town of Vaucluse his residence in the 14th centruy and composed many works while there. Good condition, approximately 9" x 12.5" to the paper edges
