Antique uncolored print showing the original building of the Massachusetts General Hospital, commonly known as Mass General or MGH, in Boston, Massachusetts. This building is still standing and part of the Mass General campus, now the Plastic Surgery Laboratory. From the Family Magazine, published in either 1839 or 1843 (there is some ambiguity as to which date is correct). Very good antique condition with light toning. Text from reverse side visible. Image measures approx. 4 x 5.5 inches to border lines, sheet measures 6.5 x 10.5 inches.
