Antique double-sided sheet from Tunison's Peerless Universal Atlas of the World, c. 1888 by H.C. Tunison. The two-page centerfold is a map of Asia, colored by country, with inset maps of Korea and Japan. There are two maps on the back: on one side is a map of the Middle East colored by county, on the other side is a map of China colored by region with an inset of England at the same scale. Vibrant original color. Fair to good antique condition with some minor stains, foxing, and smudges, and some small wrinkles. The strike on some pages in this atlas is a bit faint. China side has a slightly tight margin. Centerfold measures approx. 14 x 22 inches to the paper edges, while back side pages measure approx. 14 x 11 inches.
