Antique black & white engraving print by maker Robert Brown published in Countries of The World Vol. 3-4, shows a view of prospectors' tents lined up side by side in a valley of the Arrow River in the Otago region of New Zealand. The discovery of gold in 1862 by a man named Jack Tewa prompted the subsequent Central Otago Gold Rush of the 1860's. Good condition, approximately 7.5" x 10" to the paper edges.
