1744

Maker: John Harris

Antique print showing interesting things in the "Mary-Anne Islands". It is unclear precisely which islands these are, but believed to be the Mariana Islands in the Pacific. The images include two unique trees, one of which is the Rima Tree (Rima is the Tagalog name for the breadfruit tree), a fish hook, a fish called by English Seamen a Yellowtail, and an Indian Prow. From Complete Collection of Voyages and Travels by John Harris, 1744. Very good antique condition. Measures approx. 16 x 9.5 inches to the paper edges.
