This colored antique map was published in Letts's 1883 Popular Atlas, Being a Series of Maps Delineating the Whole Surface of the Globe, with Many Special and Original Features. Showing major points of interest and geological features, it measures approximately 15.5 x 14 inches and is in good antique condition with some toning and foxing and discoloration at center fold, rough edges, folds. The portion of the map tinted green indicates the wine-growing districts of the county, the places underlined in yellow being centers of the white wine, red the red wine, and orange the liqueur trade. Includes areas and estimated populations for provinces and states of Austrian and German empires. ***SOLD***
