Maker: Tindal/Rapin.

Antique black and white map of Ghent, Belgium, published in Tindal's Continuation of Mr. Rapin's History of England, 1785. Map is very detailed and includes a decorated reference for explanation of the individual points of interest (e.g. Barefoot Friers, Moated Castle, Hospital, etc.) With folds, as issued. Good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout and some areas of foxing/staining, as well as some heavy roughing/tearing of the outer edges and seams of the paper, with some tears continuing into the map. Measures approximately 14.25" x 18.75" to the neatline.
