High quality giclee reproduction of an antique map of the Virgin Islands "by Thomas Jefferys Geographer to the King, Corrected and Improved by Captn James Waring, 1797." Includes recognition profiles for several coastlines, as well as inset maps of Peters Island (present day Peter Island) and the Harbor of Tortola. Also includes some water depths, sailing instructions and observations, etc. Printed area measures approximately 18" x 23.5" (H x W) overall. Measured to the edges of the printed area. Paper may be larger but can be trimmed as needed.
