Antique map of part of Roxbury, city of Boston, from the Atlas of the City of Boston, Boston Proper and Roxbury by George W. and Walter S. Bromley, G.W. Bromley & Co., 1890. This map includes the area between Swett Street (now Southampton St) and Hampden St with Mass Ave, the Roxbury Canal, Magazine St, Marstens Fire Works Manufactory, and Boston Clock Company. Colored by building material (pink is brick, yellow is wood, grey/purple is stone) and with owners at the time labeled. Very good antique condition with some minor wear at the edges and some small spots. Minor stains on sides from the leather tab. Small stain at center and small hole below the stain. Approx. 18.25 x 28.25 inches to the neatline.
