Fascinating color reproduction of a comparison map of Boston before the fill and after, by the Heliotype Printing Company. Boston was originally known as the Shawmut Peninsula before the fill. The major of the landfill took place between 1630 - 1880. Approx. 9 x 12 inches. Measured to the edges of the printed area. Paper may be larger but can be trimmed as needed.
