Antique map of part of the city of Boston, from the Atlas of the City of Boston, Boston Proper and Roxbury by George W. and Walter S. Bromley, G.W. Bromley & Co., 1895. This map includes the area near the Back Bay Fens with Huntington Ave, Ruggles St, and more. This area was being developed at the time, with proposed roads, the "Tremont Entrance" to the Fens is now called Evans Way Park. Colored by building material (pink is brick, yellow is wood, grey/purple is stone) and with owners at the time labeled. Very good antique condition with some minor wear at the edges and some small spots. Approx. 20 x 30 inches to the neatline.
