Antique map from the Atlas of the City of Boston, West Roxbury by Geo. W. & Walter S. Bromley, 1890. This area is now Jamaica Plain, but was in West Roxbury at the time of the publication of this map. Shows property owners' names. Buildings are colored by type: pink is brink, yellow is frame (wood), and brown is stone. Shows roads, railroads, water bodies, etc. Streets are: Bussey, Walter, South, Washington, and more. The large empty area labeled President & Fellows of Harvard College is now Peters Hill and Walter Street Burying Ground. Fair to good condition with mild surface soil and wear at the center fold and paper edges. Separation along center fold. Water stain in bottom margine. Some pencil marks. Measures approx. 20 x 29 inches to the neatline.
