Antique hand colored and printed color map of Canada when it was British North America in the mid-19th century, in German, by Flemming, 1845. What is now Alaska was still Russian territory. The color of the ocean is printed but the outlines are hand colored. Very good condition, some light toning at the edges, approx. 12.5 x 15.5 inches to the neatline with Newfoundland poking out past the border lines.
