1875
Maker: Walling / Tackabury.
Antique map of Canada, published in Tackabury's Atlas of the Dominion of Canada, drawn, compiled, and edited by H.F. Walling and published by George N. Tackabury, 1875. Shows some topography, railroad lines, and major cities and towns. This is an interesting time in Canadian history, as shown by the divisions of the map. Manitoba is shown as it was originally established in 1870 (much smaller than it is today), and British Columbia joined Canada in 1871. Good antique condition with overall toning, some minor foxing/staining. Centerfold map measures approx. 16 x 24.5 inches.
