Vintage bird's-eye view map of Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket by John Ross MacDonald, 1958. This handsome map shows roads, villages, lighthouses, and some beaches. It features a variety of ships in the water and a compass with the Sacred Cod. With stunning color and excellent details. This map was made using topographic maps as references by John Ross MacDonald of Malden, Mass., who traveled to the Cape every summer to sell his maps to local businesses. Very good condition. Measures approx. 17.5 x 22.75 inches to the paper edges.
