This charming map shows the area as known by a local, with the names of various creeks, channels, hummocks, marshes, and flats. With some buildings noted with names, including Henry Beston's cottage "the Fo'castle" from The Outermost House. This reproduction includes some mild spotting that was on the original map. Measures approx. 22.5 x 12 inches to the edges of the printed image. Paper may be larger and can be trimmed.
