Antique hand-colored map of Mexico, Central America, Guatemala, and the Caribbean copyrighted 1849 by Mitchell and published by Thomas, Cowperthwait & Co. in Mitchell's School Atlas in 1851. With an inset map No. 16 Map of the Country between the Cities of Mexico and Vera Cruz. Includes topographical detail. Features annotations regarding historical facts, distances between countries, etc.. Good antique condition with mild toning and some stains in the margins. Measures approximately 8" x 10.5" to the neatline.
