Antique hand colored map from Johnson's New Illustrated Family Atlas of the World, 1861. Shows the Northeastern portion of South America with two small inset maps and two illustrations: a plan of Lima, a map of Chile, a view of Valparaiso, and a view of the Juan Fernandez Islands. Good to very good condition, some toning and mild stains in the margins. Measures approx. 12.75 x 16 inches to the outside of the decorative border.
