Genuine Antique Print

1881

Maker: Robert Brown

Antique print showing a view inside a church, likely the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, in Quito, Ecuador, originally published in 1881 in Robert Brown's Countries of the World Vol. 3-4. Fair to good antique condition with areas of moderate foxing around the image and some wrinkling of the paper. Page measures approximately 7.5" x 10.25" overall. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
