Antique map of the Northern sheet of South America from The Times Atlas, published by "The Times" in 1900. This map shows the northern countries of South America and designates borders by color according to political ownership; Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, as well as Brittish, French and Dutch Posessions. Two small inset maps are featured; Wales, included for scale against the general map, and another giving a closer look at the Galapagos Islands. Includes notable cities, such as Bogota, Caracas, Lima, La Paz, Belem and Salvador. Very good antique gondition, with minor foxing and light staining in the margins. Original printed color. Measures approximately 19.5 inches by 15 inches, as measured to the neatline.
