Antique hand colored map of South America, by J. Archer and published by H.G. Collins in "Appletonâ ‚¬ „¢s Modern Atlas of the Earth" c. 1850. Map includes cities, topography, and is colored by country. On the left side of the map is a graph showing the comparative lengths of Europe and South America. Very good condition with fold as issued in the atlas and some seam separation at both sides of fold. Approx. 11 x 9 inches to the neatline.
