Antique copperplate engravings of views of the area near Port St. Julian, by Schley, 1757. Puerto San Julian is a natural harbour in Patagonia in the Santa Cruz Province of Argentina. In the days of sailing ships it formed a stopping point, 180 km south of Puerto Deseado. These views have their titles in both French and Dutch. Page has folds as issued. Very good condition with some toning at the paper edges. Sheet measures approx. 10 x 15.75 inches.
