Antique black & white engraving print by maker Robert Brown published in Countries of The World Vol. 3-4, shows a view of the Panama Canal Railway in the city of Colon, Panama. The railway, which stretches from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean across Central America, cost roughly 8 million dollars and its construction took the lives of between 5-10,000 workers. Good condition, approximately 8" x 11" to the paper edges.
