Antique map of part of Asia, based on a map by famed geographer Guillaume De L'Isle, this map was published by Jean Covens & Corneille Mortier, c. 1730. This map comprises a large geographic area from India to Japan and Korea to Indonesia with China, the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and more. With fascinating early cartography and notes such as the place of residence of the "Grand Lama". Very good antique condition. Color appears to be original. Some minor tiny spots and other signs of age. Measures approx. 24 x 24.5 inches to the neatline.
