Antique coast survey chart published by the US Coast Survey in 1863 showing part of the Florida Keys, from the Elbow to Matecumbe Key. Includes Key Largo, Plantation Key labeled Long Island, and Tavernier Key. With soundings, lighthouses, tidal information and ocean floor data. Very good restored condition. This map has been cleaned and backed with light-weight paper to ensure strength but it may have some minor signs of age, such as tiny spots. Measures approx. 26 1/4"h x 30 1/4"w. This survey chart was part of a set of four charts of the Florida Keys. A small image in the upper right shows the set. This chart could be colored by our professional colorist for an additional cost.
