Hand colored antique coastal chart of Smith's or Blunt's Island (now Smith Island) off the west coast of Whidbey Island, Washington, in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and of Anacapa Island (now part of the Channel Islands National Park) in Santa Barbara Channel; finely colored recognition profile of the eastern tip of Anacapa drawn by James Whistler. Very good overall antique condition, with some toning along original folds and edges, measures approx. 11.75 x 9.25 inches to the neatline.
