Antique black and white engraving of the Cherry Valley Female Academy. It was originally an all male school, built in 1795, was converted to the female academy in 1850 but was converted into the Grand Hotel in 1875 and the hotel burned down in 1896. Very good condition with light overall toning. Approx. 5 x 7.5 inches
