Antique printed color map showing the mountains of Europe from "The Physical Atlas of Natural Phenomena" by Alexander Keith Johnston, published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1856. This map is a very early example of the use of printed color. In very good antique condition with some overall toning and very minor foxing, this piece measures approximately 19.5 x 23 inches.
