Antique map from the Property Atlas of "Lower" Fairfield County Connecticut, Volume One, published by the Franklin Survey Company, 1938. This map shows part of Stamford CT including Shippan, Shippan Point, Stamford Yacht Club, Cummings Park, and Wescott Cove. Includes roads, railroads, housing developments, and some property owners names. Vibrant original color. Leather tab on left side of page could be removed or hidden for framing. Good antique condition with minor signs of age, such as small, mild stains, some minor damage at the paper edges. A previous owner put tape on the face of the map along the fold and also over a tear on the lower right that goes into the harbor. Measures approx. 21 x 31 inches to the neatline.
