Beers' County Atlas of Litchfield, 1874, showing named roads, railroads, property owners, schools, churches, cemeteries, and the many 19th century factories and mills that sprouted next to the powerful Naugatuck River, and which made Torrington the industrial center of Litchfield County; includes insets of the Villages of Burrville and Torrington, located north along the river and separate from Wolcottville at the time. Very good antique condition with overall toning, measures approx. 23.5 x 14.5 inches.
