Antique hand colored map of a northern part of Germany, including parts of present-day Poland and Czech Republic, published by Thomson, 1817, a short number of years after the German Confederation (or German Empire) was founded by the Congress of Vienna. Map includes topographical details. With fold, as issued. Visible plate mark. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, and some minor roughing at the outer edges including some mild seam separation at the bottom. Measures approximately 14" x 22.75" to the neatline.
