Antique hand colored map of Delaware and Maryland. Shows railroads, common roads, and canals. Includes and inset map of the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C. or DC) which has a reference for points of interest. Features black and white engraved illustrations at the top of the map, showing the General Post Office, Treasury Buildings, and the Patent Office. Good condition with overall toning of the antique paper and some spots/minor stains. Some small tears at paper edges. By Johnson and Ward, 1864. Measures approximately 12.75" x 15.75" to outer edge of decorative border. (Note: Map extends slightly past these lines at both sides- See Picture.)
