Antique map of Delaware from the American Pocket Atlas by Mathew Carey, 1804 edition, this map engraved by A. Doolittle. Shows towns, main roads, rivers, lakes, mountains, etc. Cypress Swamp at bottom and Philadelphia at top. Nice depiction of Delaware Bay with an early lighthouse at Cape Henlopen. Very good restored condition; this map has been archivally cleaned but retains some minor stains. Measures approx. 7.5 x 5.75 inches to the neatline.
