Antique copperplate engravings of views of a group of islands off the coast of Hong Kong and Guangdong in China, by Schley, 1749. Map dealers believe they have identified the areas as the Wanshan Archipelago, formerly known as the Ladrones Islands, and Jiapeng Liedao or the Kaipong Islands. These views have their titles in both French and Dutch. Page has folds as issued. Very good condition with some toning at the paper edges. Sheet measures approx. 10 x 15.75 inches.
