Antique hand colored map of part of Europe "Showing at one view the True Bearing and Horizontal Distance of any Place within 700 miles of London: Drawn by the Best Authorities." Published by Laurie and Whittle in 1794. With concentric ovals radiating out from London showing distances in measurements of 20 miles, intersected with lines of the compass directions. Very good antique condition with mild to moderate image transfer and a small seam separation at bottom. Measures approx. 20.25 x 20 inches to the neatline; sheet measures approx. 21.5 x 29.5 inches.
